We work on residential garage doors, springs, openers, tracks, cables, and panels across Fort Walton Beach and the surrounding area out to Ocean City, Mary Esther, Shalimar, Lake Lorraine, Hurlburt Field, Valparaiso, and Harris. That's the range we can reach the same day for most calls.
What we don't do: commercial rolling steel doors, gate operators, and structural framing repair. If your opener has failed because the header above it is rotted or the jamb is pulling away from the studs, that's a carpentry job first - we'll tell you that on the phone instead of showing up and charging a trip fee for something we can't fix that visit.
We also won't quote a firm price over the phone for anything involving a bent track, an off-track door, or a spring that's already broken on one side of a double door. Those jobs vary too much house to house to guess right, and a wrong guess either lowballs you or scares you off a job that's actually simple. A lot of houses in this area were built between 1973 and 2013, with plenty from the 1960s and 70s stock still standing, and hardware from those eras doesn't always match what's on the truck - sometimes we need to see it before we can tell you what part number you actually need.
What Happens After You Call
When you call, we ask a handful of questions: single or double door, how old the opener is if you know it, whether the door still moves at all, and whether you hear a spring snap or just silence when you hit the button. That's usually enough to tell whether it's a same-visit repair or something that needs measuring first.
For a broken spring, a loud cable pop, or an opener that hums but doesn't lift, we can usually give you a working price range before we leave the driveway. For anything involving a full door replacement, we need to see the opening in person - width, height, headroom, and whether you want insulated panels matter more here than they might further inland, since our winters stay mild with only occasional freeze risk, which changes what insulation actually buys you.
Once we're at the house, we confirm the number before any work starts. No repair begins on a guess. If the fix turns out bigger than what got diagnosed over the phone - a second spring going, a bent track from age rather than impact - we stop and tell you before continuing, not after.
